Foundry Food + Tap does accept reservations at most times. The app we use for this is called Wait list. ALL FOH EMPLOYEES WILL BE TRAINED ON THIS SYSTEM. There may be times where we have an event going on and are unable to accommodate all reservations. When taking a reservation, take down the following information: name, date, phone number, time, number of people, type of event, any special requests, and also your initials, so that if there are any questions, we know who to ask. For parties of 20 or more also get an email address and inform the Manager on duty so that they can inform our Events Coordinator. If you do not feel comfortable taking a reservation, please transfer the call to a member of Management.
At Foundry Food + Tap we answer the phone by saying, “Thank you for calling Foundry Food + Tap (Your locationhere) this is (your name), how may I help you?
When the guests ask to make a reservation and we have switched to call ahead seating pleasedo not just say, “We’re full” and hang up. These are not solutions and you have left the caller no better off than before they made the call. Instead say, “I do apologize we are not taking reservations at this time, but I can take down your name as a call ahead to shorten your wait. Once you arrive at Foundry Food + Tap, please check in with the host and we will get you one of the next tables available upon arrival. Again,Call Ahead Seating is not a reservation, but it is a great way to shorten your wait time.
Foundry Food + Taps hours of operations are Monday through Saturday 11am-1am and Sunday 9am-1am. We do have a 2:00 liquor license so if we have guests hanging out late night and spending some money, we will extend our bar hours until 2:00am. We NEVER close early as our kitchen is open until 1am seven days a week. We must stay consistent with our hours posted on our website and front doors. Consistency in hours is consistency in sales.
